When 240v power is difficult to access due to proximity or the associated cost, a DC Powered Gate Kit is the solution. Harnessing UV light through a 10w solar panel (facing North) as its power source. A DC powered gate is cost effective to run and install. Richmond’s Heavy Duty DC powered Gate Kit has everything you need for the DIY installation of a powered sliding gate system.

Increasing security and value to your property whilst eliminating the need to disembark from your vehicle to manually open and close the gate. A sliding gate system is perfect for space conscious areas as the gate retracts along a rigid fixed track rather than opening on a radius determined by the gate opening. Richmond offer a full range of gate accessories including: guide rollers and brackets, track wheels and gate track lengths (3m sections), photocells and remote control key pads.
